Attorney Profile

Stacey R. Hancock spent years as an attorney practicing at one of Missouri’s largest law firms representing insurance companies (Insurance Defense). From her experience at the law firm, she learned a great deal about how the insurance industry works and how to get her clients the best compensation they deserve.

She has spent the past twelve years solely representing people injured in motor vehicle accidents, or other accidents caused by the negligence of others.

Stacey is experienced in handling very serious injuries. She settled for a substantial amount in a wrongful death case against a major bus company. Just recently, she received the highest percentage for a parent in a wrongful death case in the U. S. She dedicated four years of her life to make sure this parent who lost her only son, a St. Louis City fireman, in the line of duty, receive what was justly due to her.

Stacey was raised in a medical family. Her grandfather, uncles, sister, cousins and daughter are all medical physicians. This makes physicians accessible to her to assess and review all the short and long-term medical aspects of your case. Her accessibility to medical physicians coupled with her experience in representing insurance companies enables her to handle all injury cases effectively.

Stacey is a native of St. Louis. She received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration – Marketing from the University of Missouri. In 1986 she received her law degree from the University of Maryland. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri. She is a member of the Missouri Bar, Bar Association of St. Louis, National Bar Association and the Mound City Bar.
